Birdathon Online Auction has Ended

We’re sorry if you missed Amos Butler Audubon Society’s (ABAS) Birdathon online auction. If you won items, be sure to pay by the end of September 20 so you don’t lose your items. If you are picking up items rather than having them shipped, you must pay prior to picking up the items. The pickup days are:

Wednesday, September 20, Noon – 4:00pm

Thursday, September 21, Noon – 4:00pm

Friday, September 22, 4-5pm

Pickup location is: Eagle Creek Park Office, 7840 W 56th St, Indianapolis, IN 46254

Please wear a mask if you are not vaccinated.

Shipping is based on the product’s shipping category. Shipping will be charged once for each item in your cart. We realize this can be expensive for multiple items and encourage winners to utilize the local pickup option.

Creating an account on the ABAS Birdathon Auction page is required so that bidding can be monitored and emails can be sent notifying bidders when they have been out-bid, have won the auction, and to confirm payment. Where and when can I pick up my items?2023-09-05T18:16:44-04:00

You must pay online prior to picking up items. If you aren’t vaccinated, please bring your mask to pick up items.

All payments are done through PayPal. You can use your PayPal account or PayPal will process your credit card without creating a PayPal account.

All payments must be completed by the end of September 20 or before you pickup. If you don’t pay by the end of that day, items will go to the next highest bidder.

How do I place a bid?2020-09-15T22:38:25-04:00

Enter a bid amount and click on the bid button. If it is your first bid, you will be asked to create an account.

Can I buy items right away?2020-09-15T22:40:29-04:00

Some items have a Buy-it-Now amount. You can use that button to win that item right away. The payment and shipping/pickup processes will be the same if you Buy-it-Now.

Will I be notified if I am outbid?2023-09-04T16:52:26-04:00

Yes. You will receive an email if another bidder has bid more on an item for which you previously had the high bid.

Check your spam folder as emails often are sent here. Set Amos Butler Audubon emails to safe for them to appear in your inbox.

Can I cancel my bid?2020-09-15T22:42:15-04:00

No. If you made an error on your bid, contact us at info@amosbutleraudubon.org right away so it can be corrected.

Can I see just books?2020-09-15T22:42:49-04:00

Once you are looking at a specific item, you can see items with the same tag by clicking on the tag. This will bring up all items with that tag for you to see.

What if I can’t pick up items on either of the designated days?2023-09-04T16:50:40-04:00

If you cannot pick-up items at the designated times, items can be pick-up at the Ornithology Center volunteer room during the regular open hours of (M-S 10 to 5, Sunday, 1-5) after the September 24, 2023.  Please email us at info@amosbutleraudubon.org to make arrangements.
