Audubon Great Lakes Advocacy Day at the Indiana Statehouse

State legislators make important decisions that impact the lives of millions of birds and people in Indiana. Your voice is more important than ever as we head into a new legislative cycle.

You’re invited to Audubon Great Lakes Advocacy Day at the Indiana Statehouse on Monday, January 30 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This special day will bring together Audubon members and Indiana residents from across the state to make their voices heard for the birds and communities we love.

You’ll meet with elected officials and their staff at the Indiana Statehouse, alongside policy experts, to advocate for programs that will protect vulnerable birds like Indiana’s Red-headed Woodpecker and Least Bittern.

No previous advocacy experience is necessary. Participants will have the opportunity to attend a virtual training on how to be an effective advocate and be briefed on Audubon’s policy priorities.
