From the Rooftop Garden Cocktail Lounge\, mingle with ABAS members while observing an active swift colony\, plus Common Nighthawks. There is a limit of 10 for this event and registration is required. The best viewing will be 8:30 to 9:30. \nThere is parking on the street outside the building or lot at Woodlawn Ave. just north of the building right off of Woodlawn and Virginia. Go to the side of the theatre building near Kuma’s Korner restaurant to find a building entrance door and hall with elevator. Take the elevator to the top floor.

Walks are ninety minutes to two hours on relatively even terrain. There is no fee for the walk but standard gate admission applies. Meet in the northeast corner of the Delaware Lake parking lot. DESCRIPTION:Experienced birders from ABAS will lead a bird hike at the 102-acre Marott Woods Nature Preserve. Beginning birders welcome. This should be prime time for the Spring migration. The preserve is along Williams Creek and has dirt trails and a generally flat terrain. Do not forget your binoculars. A few pairs may be available to lend for the morning. \nThe bird hike is free but advance registration is required. To reserve your spot\, email Chuck Anderson at chucka1999@aol.com.
