Wetland\, prairie\, and old-growth deciduous habitats have drawn over 180 species of birds including 30 different warblers\, and 21 state threatened or endangered species. Olivia Bautch\, director with ABAS\, will lead this peak-migration hike. \nGuests should park in the preserve’s lot off of Hauge Road. We will meet by the picnic tables near the trail gate. Make sure to bring your binoculars. If needed\, we will have a couple of pairs available to lend. \nThe field trip is limited to 10 participants and early registration is offered to ABAS members until April 19th\, after which time non-members may register if there are any open spots.
