This is an all-day event where registrants can choose between expert-led birding tours of Eagle Creek Park\, conservation seminars\, family activities such as nature hikes and owl pellets\, and live bird programs. This year’s Earth/Arbor day festival will take place in the parking lot\, near Zionsville’s Rails to Trails walkway with the potential to move the event inside if there is inclement weather.  BCVC is excited to have a new location and new hosts which infuses new energy into the event this year! \nThis event is free and open to the public.  They will have interactive activities for children\, educational exhibitors\, and live animal demonstrations and discussions.

DESCRIPTION:Volunteer to help Hamilton County Parks and Recreation and the Indiana Audubon Society as we count birds throughout our county. This annual count takes place on International Migratory Bird Day and the results are a valuable tool in tracking bird populations throughout the United States. Bird watchers of different skill levels will be paired together and assigned to various areas of the county.
