On behalf of Becky Lomax-Sumner, the Efroymson Family Fund has awarded a $1,926 grant to Amos Butler Audubon Society for the purchase of a new Purple Martin House for Eagle Creek Park. This purchase was personally suggested by Jeremy Efroymson, Vice Chair of the Efroymson Family Fund, to Becky, who is on the Eagle Creek Park Advisory Committee.

In compliance with the typical grant procedures, a 510(c)3 is required to receive the grant funds. This is where ABAS stepped in; Executive Committee members Val Chambon and Allie Combs offered the nonprofit to serve as the intermediary between the Efroymson Family Fund and Becky’s purchase of the martin house. Find the letter from the Family Fund confirming this grant below.

Becky would like to give recognition to ABAS for receiving the award and facilitating this purchase.
