On November 27th, ABAS joined Audubon Great Lakes to lead a bird hike at DePauw Nature Park with Congressman Jim Baird, State Representative Beau Baird, and representatives of several other conservation organizations. The hike included discussions on “the importance of conservation solutions like the Farm Bill, that will protect wildlife and local communities.” ABAS was glad to have a role in the discussion about protecting wetlands and wildlife, while experiencing nature and birds at the DePauw Nature Park.
