Audubon May Bird Count

Cool Creek Nature Center

2000 East 151st Street, Carmel

Volunteer to help the Hamilton County Parks & Recreation and the Indiana Audubon Society as we count birds throughout our county. This annual count takes place on International Migratory Bird Day. The results serve as a valuable tool in tracking bird populations throughout the United States. Birdwatchers of different skill levels will be paired together and assigned to various areas of the county. After the morning festivities, an optional lunch will be provided in the Cool Creek Nature Center, (317) 774-2500. Fee: $1.00/participant, pre-registration required.
